UF Bikes Communications Internship

UF Bikes, with support from Transportation and Parking Services, is seeking students for a paid internship focusing on communications. The internship will involve assisting the Campus Bicycle Program Coordinator with developing and implementing a communications strategy to improve the visibility of UF Bikes and their programs and resources.

Preferred candidates should possess:

Interns will work with Office of Sustainability and Transportation & Parking Services staff and current cycling interns to improve awareness of existing programs and cycling support and awareness initiatives on campus. Interns will receive guidance and feedback from the Campus Bicycle Program Coordinator as they work to build an audience and engage the campus cycling community. Interns will be expected to commit up to ten hours per week to their position.

UF Bikes Programs Internship

UF Bikes, with support from the Office of Sustainability, is seeking students for a paid internship focusing on bicycling advocacy, repair and maintenance, and safety education. The internship will involve handling operations of the Office’s existing Departmental Bike Share Program and the Gator Gears student bicycle rental program, among other related duties.

Preferred candidates should possess:

Interns will work with Office of Sustainability and Transportation & Parking Services staff and current cycling interns to improve and expand existing programs and develop and implement cycling support and awareness initiatives on campus. Interns will be trained in bicycle repair and maintenance by seasoned professional bicycle mechanics on staff. Interns will be expected to commit up to ten hours per week to their position.
