Gator Gears Repairs
To schedule a repair appointment, please email us at info@bikes.ufl.edu with:
- a description of the problem and your bicycle’s ID number,
- your contact phone number and dates/hours of availability,
- and a photo and description of your bicycle’s current location.
Gator Gears’ trained staff mechanics will contact you as soon as possible to schedule a repair appointment and will travel to your location anywhere on campus to perform repairs. Please note that our mechanics cannot travel to off campus locations for these appointments, however.
Repair appointments are normally available Monday – Friday when classes are in session but are not available on weekends or University holidays.
Gator Gears does not charge customers for our mechanics’ time and labor, but you may be charged for the cost of parts depending on the type of repair that’s necessary for your bicycle. Tires, tubes, pedals and grips will be replaced free of charge, but participants are responsible for the cost of all other replacement parts. Please see the parts price list below for additional information.
