C.O.R.E. Workshops

In-person classes are currently on hold due to COVID-19. To be alerted when sessions resume, please sign-up for our mailing list below. We also encourage you to explore Cycling Savvy Online to learn about safe riding on the Canvas platform for UF students, faculty and staff.

UF’s bicycle programs and RecSports Center for Outdoor Recreation and Activities (C.O.R.E.) have partnered to offer cycling skills workshops on campus. Each semester we will offer courses designed to make riders of all skill levels more resilient and independent cyclists.

Past courses offered include:

Tube & Tire Repair

This hands-on course covers the ins and outs of tube and tire repair. Curriculum includes tube patching, tire booting, rim inspection and all students complete a full patch and repair on a demonstration wheel. Students will receive a new patch kit and tire lever to perform their own repairs upon completion of the class, sponsored by the Office of Sustainability.
