In partnership with the Office of Sustainability, bicycles are available for departmental use to encourage sustainable transportation on and around campus.
Request A Department Bicycle
UF’s Department Bike Share program provides bicycles at no cost to enable UF faculty and staff to conduct campus business. The program’s goal is to provide a sustainable active transportation option to faculty and staff while reducing the use of motor vehicles on campus.
Program bicycles are diverted from the abandoned bicycle recovery process and are refurbished for Department Bike Share program use.
Bikes are available on a first come, first serve basis to departments and offices on campus.
Free maintenance and repairs are included with all Department Bike Share bicycles. Bicycles also include a lock and a helmet.
