UF Bikes works to encourage and support cyclists of all kinds. While in-person campus events are currently on hold, we encourage you to get out and ride safely and effectively. Please see our COVID-19 cycling resource page for more information on how you can do more on your bike with help from UF Bikes!

Bike To Campus Day
Bike To Campus Day celebrates bicyclists of all stripes with a welcome event on the Plaza of the Americas in the fall and spring semesters. Cyclists who attend are treated to a light breakfast and coffee along with resources from UF Bikes, UPD, FDOT PedBike Safety Resource Center, UF Office of Sustainability, Gator Dining and more. Sustainable Transportation Fair
The UF Office of Sustainability hosts the Sustainable Transportation Fair each fall on the Reitz Union North Lawn to showcase sustainable transportation options that gators can take advantage of on campus and in their personal lives. UF Bikes hosts a Fix-Flat-Challenge table where we teach attendees to fix flat tires on their bikes and give away flat repair kits for those who complete the brief training. We also host an e-bike demo.
Light & Helmet Giveaways

UF Bikes, the University Police Department and the Office of Sustainability partner to raise awareness of the need to have lights on at night while cycling. During special nights throughout the year, UPD and UF Bikes will be out around campus providing free light sets and helmets courtesy of the Florida Department of Transportation. These events are also a great time to register your bike for free!
